Privacy Policy

TechFin Synergy ("we", "us") provides managed IT, cybersecurity, accounting, AI and automation, and training services from Nairobi, Kenya, to clients across Kenya, East Africa and the wider EMEA region. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

Contact form. When you ask for a consultation we receive your name, work email, and, if you choose to give them, your company, the service you are interested in and your message.

Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you contact us directly, we receive what you send and your contact details. WhatsApp is run by Meta and is covered by its own privacy policy.

Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of the request. We use this to keep the site secure and working.

What we do not use. This site does not use advertising trackers, analytics tools or tracking cookies, and it does not sell your information.

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal or arrange a call.
• To protect the site and the form from spam and abuse. For example, we limit how often one connection can send the form.
• To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

We process your information because you ask us to, by sending a message (your consent and steps taken at your request before a possible contract), and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 and, where it applies, the EU and UK GDPR, you can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to policy@finsynergy.tech.

What you send through the contact form is not saved in any database. It is delivered as an email to our team inbox. If your enquiry receives no response, we delete it within 3 days.

If we do start a conversation with you or work together, we handle that correspondence under our engagement terms and keep it only as long as needed for the work and for legal, tax and audit obligations.

We do not sell or share your information for marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process it only to run this site and deliver your message to us:

• Vercel hosts the website and keeps server logs.
• Supabase runs the function that receives the contact form.
• Resend, through the Lovable connector gateway, delivers the form to our inbox as an email.
• Our email provider hosts the inbox that receives enquiries.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Some of these providers operate servers in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. When your information leaves Kenya, the EEA or the UK, we rely on the safeguards those laws allow, such as the providers' standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements.

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, and under the GDPR if you are in the EEA or the UK, you may ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information;
• restrict or object to how we use it, and move it to another provider where that applies;
• stop using it if you have withdrawn your consent.

Email policy@finsynergy.tech and we will answer without undue delay and within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke) or to the data protection authority in your own country.

The site is served over HTTPS, the contact form has protections against automated abuse, and access to our enquiry inbox is limited to our team. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Our services are for businesses. This site is not meant for children and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check it from time to time.
